One hair cycle, then judge it.

Photograph your parting in the same light on day one. Run the routine for three to four months. If the photographs haven’t changed, tell us and we’ll refund it — bottles used.

01Why one step isn’t a routine

A hair-loss shampoo is a hair-loss routine for about ninety seconds.

What you tell yourself

“I’m using something for it.”

What’s actually happening

Four minutes a week. Then nothing.

01

You wash

The shampoo does the job it’s built for — clears build-up, stops the mechanical damage that costs you length, leaves the scalp clean.

02

Ninety seconds later it’s gone

Rinsed away, by design. That is what the word shampoo means, and no formulation changes it.

03

Then the scalp is on its own

For the next forty-eight hours, the skin where every hair is actually made has nothing on it at all. That’s where the routine stops.

04

So the slow work never starts

Follicles respond to months of consistent care, not to four minutes a week. The gap between washes was always where the results were going to come from.

Week after week, nothing in between

The oil is what fills that gap. Not a nicer version of the shampoo — the opposite kind of product, doing the opposite job.

One of these is rinsed off. The other is still working while you sleep.

Why the pair exists
02Two jobs, not two versions

The difference between them is time.

People assume a kit is the same product twice in different packaging. These two are opposites by design — and the thing that separates them is how long each one stays where it’s needed.

Step 1 · Shampoo

Prepares the ground

Clears build-up so the scalp is actually reachable, and takes the mechanical harshness out of the step you repeat four times a week. Then it leaves.

SecondsHours

About ninety seconds on the scalp.

Removes build-up and residue
Reduces breakage along the shaft
Enhanced with the same Capilox oil
Step 2 · Oil

Does the slow work

Goes onto the scalp along a parting with a dropper and stays there — through the evening, or overnight. This is the half with time on its side.

SecondsHours

Hours, or all night. Not rinsed off.

Applied to skin, not to the lengths
Builds in the sixty-second massage
Three or four evenings a week
If you can only run one of them, run the oil.

We say that on both product pages and we’re not going to stop saying it here because there’s a bundle in front of you. Contact time is what matters, and the oil is the one that has it. What the shampoo adds is a clean scalp for the oil to reach, and a wash that stops undoing the work in between.

Three numbers behind the pairing

Built to be finished,
not collected.

2
Months, both

200ml of shampoo and 30ml of oil run down at roughly the same rate. They were sized to finish together, so you reorder once instead of twice.

60
Seconds

The scalp massage the oil is built around. Free, evidence-backed, and the single most skipped step in anybody’s hair routine.

3–4
Months

Before a fair verdict. Hair grows about a centimetre a month, which is why two routines rather than one is the option we’ve pre-selected.

03The quiet detail

Two bottles that run out in the same week.

Why a 200ml bottle is paired with a 30ml one.

It looks lopsided until you work out the usage. The shampoo is a normal wash four times a week and lasts roughly two months. The oil goes on with a dropper, a few drops along a parting, three or four evenings a week — six to eight weeks from 30ml.

So they empty at about the same time. That sounds like a small thing. It is the difference between a routine you keep and a routine that quietly collapses the week one half runs out and the other doesn’t.

04How the week looks

Cleanse. Target. Massage.

01

Wash days

Emulsify in your palms first, then a full minute on the scalp with fingertips. Let the runoff clean the lengths — scrubbing them is where breakage comes from.

02

Evenings in between

Part the hair in sections. A few drops of oil straight onto the scalp along each parting — never through the lengths, which can’t use it.

03

Sixty seconds

Fingertips, firm enough to move the scalp, small circles, a full minute. Leave it on overnight. Three or four evenings a week is where most people settle.

Photograph your parting on day one.

Same light, same place, hair parted the same way. Density changes far too slowly to see in a mirror you look at every morning — and a photo from four months ago is the only honest way to settle it, in either direction.

05What’s in the box

Both products, at their own full size.

No travel minis, no sachets. These are the same two bottles sold on their own pages — you can go and read either one, and both will tell you the same things this page does.

06Is the pair right for you

When to buy one instead.

We’d rather sell you the right half than the wrong whole.

Take the routine if

  • Your part is widening and you want to act on it properly rather than halfway.
  • You’re finding both short broken hairs and full-length shed hairs.
  • You know yourself well enough to admit a one-step routine won’t hold your attention.
  • You’d rather reorder one thing every two months than two things on different weeks.

Buy just one if

  • You already love your shampoo. Buy the oil alone — it’s the half that matters.
  • You genuinely won’t put oil in your hair. Then the shampoo alone is the honest choice.
  • Your shedding came on suddenly and heavily. Get iron, ferritin and thyroid checked first.
  • You have smooth patchy bald spots or a clearly receding hairline. That’s a doctor’s conversation.
Let’s be straight about the downside

Worst case. Best case.

Worst case

Four months on, the photographs look the same. You tell us and we refund it. You’ll have ruled out the two things most within your control — a harsh wash and an untouched scalp — which means the next conversation you have with a pharmacist starts in a much more useful place.

Best case

The short broken hairs thin out within weeks. Somewhere in month three you notice fine new growth standing up along your part. The ponytail feels thicker, the scalp stops feeling tight — and the minute in the evening has turned into something you do without deciding to.

Questions worth asking

The honest answers.

Is this actually cheaper than buying them separately?
Yes, and the sum is printed at the top of this page rather than described — it reads both products’ live prices, so it can’t drift out of date if we ever change one. Separately they come to $84.78. As a routine it’s $69.89. The saving goes up on two and three.
If the oil is the important half, why buy the pair?
Because a scalp with product build-up on it is a scalp an oil has to get through before it reaches skin, and because a harsh wash four times a week quietly undoes the thing you’re doing on the other evenings. The oil is still the half with contact time on its side — that’s why it’s the one we’d tell you to keep if you dropped the other. The pair simply stops the two steps working against each other.
Do I use both on the same day?
You can, but most people don’t need to. A common rhythm is washing three or four times a week, and oiling on two or three of the evenings in between — with the last oil session on the night before a wash day, so it comes out in the morning. There’s no need to apply oil onto a scalp you’ve just washed an hour earlier.
How long before anything changes?
Condition and scalp comfort shift inside a couple of weeks — less tangling, fewer short broken hairs, less tightness. Density runs on the hair cycle, which means three to four months before a fair judgement. That’s why two routines is pre-selected rather than one: one box is about two months, and two months is not an answer.
Can I use this alongside a pharmacy regrowth treatment?
Generally yes, and plenty of people do. Keep the oil and the treatment at opposite ends of the day rather than layering them, because an oil film can sit between the other product and your skin. And if your thinning is clearly genetic, the pharmacy option is the stronger one — we say that on both product pages and it stays true here.
Will my hair feel greasy?
On oil evenings, yes, until you wash it out — it’s an oil, and we’re not going to dress that up. That’s precisely why the rhythm above exists: oil at night, wash in the morning. If the idea genuinely bothers you, buy the shampoo on its own instead of discovering it with two bottles already in the bathroom.

Mind the gap
between washes.

Ninety seconds on wash days. Sixty seconds on the evenings in between. Two bottles that run out in the same week, so the routine never quietly stops.
